Travelling to Qadian
Qadian is accessible either by Air or Road or Rail. If you are travelling by Air you will land at either Amritsar International Airport or Delhi International airport. From Delhi you can have connecting domestic Flight for Amritsar of half and hour duration or you can travel by bus or train to Amritsar. From bus and train travelling time varies from 7 to 9 hours. There are taxis also available from Delhi Airport to Qadian.
From Amritsar you can travel both by Road or Rail. A taxi to Qadian takes about 60-70 minutes. Bus service is also available from Amritsar Bus Terminal which takes approximately one hour for Amritsar to Batala and half an hour from Batala to Qadian. Train service is usually only one train available in 24 hour, however it can change, therefore please check the schedule in advance.
If you are coming from Pakistan then you cross International Border by Road or through bus or by train. Again check the schedule of each transportation means in advance. It takes less time consuming if you are crossing border through Wagah border. After custom clearance at the Indian side of Wagah border Taxis and buses are available for the travelers who wanted to go to Amritsar and Qadian.

1. For all international traveler wanted to visit Qadian, they need and require to have valid Tourist Visa at the port of entry. For obtaining visa please contact Embassies/Consulates General office of India in your country.
2. The international traveler should obtain visa other formalities well before several months from the date of actual travel
